Polish Forces

Developed in the early 1930s, the Vickers Commercial 6-Ton Tank was not adopted by the British Army, but was very successful for Vickers as an "export tank", purchased by a number of foreign countries and influential on several subsequent designs. This 1934 photo shows Vickers 6-Tons in Polish service. They are painted in the distinctive Vickers standard "Chinese" camouflage (incorrectly labeled with this photo - and illogically - as "Japanese") pattern. Best regards, JR.
