General Antoni Chrusciel was in charge of all Polish formations during the Warsaw Uprising.

Colonel Stefan Rowecki. Before the 1939 war and during the war, he served as a commanding officer of the Armoured-Motorised Warsaw Division. When the war was lost, he was in charge of the Home Army (AK). He was killed by Germans in 1944.
