Polish Forces
In the picture: Sir Stefan Ossowiecki, a well-known, pre-war Polish clairvoyant. A piece of history: Ossowiecki was a person whose atypical abilities such us predicting the upcoming future, reading ones minds and moving close items, brought the attention of Polish leaders - like Marshals Józef Piłsudski na Edward Rydz - Śmigły. But the aim of my post is not his biography but a little event from his life. In spring 1939, he was visited by the Polish Supreme Commander, Marshal Edward Rydz - Śmigły. He asked him about the upcoming future for Poland. As Ossowiecki was infallible in his profession, he said almost in tears that Poland would face a total disaster from German hands. In his vision, he saw his country dying in ruins and blood. Then he said about German troops moving rapidly towards the Caucasus and Ural Mountains. Being asked again by the Marshal, what would happen to Poland during and after the war, he replied that it would be smashed twice at the begining and at the end of the war. The main winner would be Russia. He added that his country would return on the map of Europe but in a completely diffrent view and for a terrible price. He had the same vision few days before the break out of the war in September 1939. Hearing such words from Ossowiecki's mouth, the Marshal Edward Rydz - Śmigły, forbade him taking such news to the public opinion. As a result, he had to lie, and said that Polish future would be relatively good with no dark clouds around it. There's a question. If the Polish Supreme Commander, was talked such atypical news, in spring 1939, why he didn't stop this catastrophy, that his country was going to face?We will never find this answer in any book - NEVER. I would like to add that parapsychology was very famous in pre-war Europe and after Poland's defeat, Ossowiecki was given a letter from Hitler that no one could harm him. Unfortunately, during the Warsaw Uprising, he was killed by the Gestapo, as he would be a too valuable thing in the hands of German enemies. I think it's a very controversial story, yet based on real events. The aim of my post, was to put to the light such unknown affairs.Regards. Bóg, Honor i Ojczyzna, komandso10
