Oldest historic district of the city was destroyed 90% by German Nazis during second world war and rebuilt 1953 by Poles. The last reconstruction was Royal Castle 1974. 1980 rebuilt Old Town (Stare Miasto) was enlisted UNESCO World Heritage Site and it was thirtieth record on the list.  Capital City of Warsaw was destroyed during ww2 in 70%.
