It is an undeniable fact that the Polish cavalry was the best. (I am sure that no one can say that it is not true). It was even confirmed by Napoleon who was impressed by the battle for Somosierra (1808) and many other battles with the part of Polish cavalry units....it was also confirmed by Siemion Buddiony after the battle for Komarów in 1920 (the biggest cavalry battle in the 20th century,the winners were the Poles)....It was also confirmed by Kara Mustafa after the battle for Vienna in 1683 (Polish victory)....it was also confirmed by the Russians after the battle for Kłuszyn in 1610 (that battle made that Moscow was taken by the Polish units).....it was also coinfirmed.....so on....so on.....

The Poles have a very, very, very long cavalry traditions. Cavalry was an elite Polish formation all the time of its existence.
