Polish Army destroyed USSR fighter aircraft Polikarpov I-16 after Stalins aggression against Poland 17 September 1939. Additional history: USSR Red Army were murdering Polish POWS and quite small part of Polish civilians. USSR NKVD Stalin murdered 20000 Polish officers pows and generals POWS during Katyn Forest massacre 1940 (and not only in Katyn near Smolensk).
