German Nazi tank  destroyed by Polish Army in Poland 1939. Behind riding German soldiers on horses. Defence of Poland against German forces was from 1 September till 6 October 1939. Not very long because Stalin attacked Poland also.

Tons of polish weapons, uniforms, helmets and other equipment gathered on a big square in the polish capitol. The polish government had already escaped to the south-eastern regions of the country on September 5, 1939, later (September 17) to Romania.
