Island of Vis 1944 ,Yugoslavian partizan armed with a captured MG42.Postwar,the Yugoslavs would continue to manufacture the MG42 better known as the M53(most of the time mistakenly called MG53 ),almost identical to the original but with a lesser rate of fire.
