A motorized Banda (troop) of Dubat during the Italo-Ethiopian war. The Dubat were Somali irregular colonial troops recruited among the warrior tribes (cabile) and among people 18-35 years old wich was fit for running 60 km in no more than 10 hours in an hostile environment.

The number and the color of the stars on the Sciumbasci sleeves indicated the time of service: 3 gold stars indicated over 28 years of service. DVX
