Protecting the bus

The commander of 2nd Czechoslovak army and protagonist of an agressive and mobile defence of the republic (not only static fight in the forts, which could be not too effective against the blitzkrieg). After the occupation he became a partisan and was the only one Czechoslovak general killed in action, 2nd Oct. 1944.
