An interesting photo (which, yes, I did first come across on wikipeida, though later sited through other sources) showing an extract from a Japanese handbook. This small book was meant to show to Japanese troops (mainly officers) who some of the key players were in the Chinese theater of the war, and how close a friend they were to Japan. Pictured here is Altanochir, a Mongolian politician who served in the pro-Japanese Mengjiang government of Inner Mongolia under Prince Demchugdongrub.
