General Emilio Esteban Infantes. He was the 2nd and last commander of the Blue Division. Replaced Gen. Muñoz Grandes when due to political reasons was called back to Spain. Gen, Estevab Infantes was a conservative and tended to be pro Western Allies. He demonstrated to be a very capable commander and was awarded with the KC after the Krasny Bor Battle in which the front was sustained against a numerically very superior Soviet forces from 55th Army.

In spite of her poor quality, this photo is interesting because show the only Savoia-Marchetti S.81 of Spanish Nationalist Forces captured intact the Spanish Republican Forces during the Civil War. The plane were a bomber of XXV Grupo based at Mallorca captured by Republican on 1938 and integrated on the Grupo 72, 1ª Escadrilla of Fuerzas Aéreas de la República Española. Victor Sierra
