House or bunker?

Although the Belgian Army ,in may 1940, was not very well equipped,they were not totally unprepared.It may have been called 'The Phoney War' but in the period of sep39 till april40 preparations were made to stop an invasion.One of these defensive works was the KW-line(KW stands for Koninkshooikt-Waver=name of 2 towns).Between these two towns,a series of some 30000 Cointet-antitank elements(see next post)were set in the landscape.Together with 235 bunkers ,anti-tank ditches,the canal Leuven-Mechelen and floodings ,the Belgian Army hoped to counter the German invasion.Some of these bunkers were cunningly camouflaged,as this photo shows.Greetz,Brummbar
