The Burgerbraukeller Festhall as it was shortly after 'photo (1).  A time-bomb had been concealed in a pillar close to the speaker's rostrum and had exploded with devastating effect during the period in which Hitler should have been speaking.  If he had been there, it is hard to believe that the Fuhrer could have survived the blast.  In the event, a change in schedule meant that he had already left by the time the bomb went off.  JR.
