Belgian troops 

A young boy, carrying what appears to be a juvenile hunting rifle and wearing a cap belonging to a member of the "Steel Battalions", Union de Hermanos Proletarios" (Union of Proletarian Brothers).  Even by the standards generally prevailing, Barcelona and Catalunya as a whole were thrown into violent chaos at the outset of the Spanish Civil War, not least because of the ... well ... anarchy generated by the strong Anarchist movement (if one can speak of an "Anarchist movement) native to that region.
