Came upon another most likely WW2 related find.This strange  cylinder was found in the same neighbourhood as a GMC 6x6 doorpanel and mine knockers from a Sherman Crab(the heavy balls at the end of the chains).Found during road works in the Netherlands.The exact dimensions are:diameter 6,5 cm and height 6 cm .The diameter of the hole is 28 mm(photo's also on the forum page).Again I hope someone in here can solve the riddle :)

While renovating his grandfathers farm near Salzburg,Josef Ruckhofer, found a wallet under some boards.It contained family photo's,old stamps and military papers belonging to Eligio Ramos,at the time(1945) stationed in Austria.Ruckhofer started an online search and found out that   Eligio Ramos was still alive,living in California...
