Panther in Celles(Belgian Ardennes)

This was the leading Panther from Kampfgruppe von Cochenhausen, (part of the 2. Panzer-Division)that,in the morning of 24th of december ran on a mine and got knocked out. After the war the Panther got it's place at a crossroad in Celles.The tracks,roadwheels and rollers have all gone.In the side is an AT hit that penetrated.The story tells of the mine,so perhaps the AT hit was a practice shot or a 'make sure shot' later in the battle.The next photo is off that AT hit :) greetz,brummbar
