A destroyed bunker on that same Cap Blanc Nez site.The bunker stood on the downside slope just under the top of the falaise(cliff).From the top you can see the white Cliffs of Dover.From this series of bunkers ,the Germans shelled the English coast with heavy ship guns installed in massive bunkers.Sadly the bunkercomplex itself cannot be visited anymore.

Captuerd Japanese submarine carrier I-400 at Pearl Harbor being inspected. I-400 and her sister submarines were later scuttled in 1946 to prevent the technology available to the Soviets

Just behind the WW2 bunker complex on the Cap Blanc Nez(close to Sangatte on the French coast).On the inland side of the coastal road,  the bombcraters are still very visible.Missed the bunkers by +- 250 meters.
