Charles Mackey (L) and Arnold Mackey (R) stand by to go on a flight from the Kalamazoo Airport to Lake Michigan and back on the "Yankee Warrior" B 25D. This Mediom Range Bomber that was called the "Ellen E and Son" during World War II flew combat missions over Corsica,Sicily, and Italy. At various times, the British and Canadian Royal Air Forces used the plane as a Trainer Aircraft. The Yankee War Museum eventually got the plane and renamed it the "Yankee Warrior". The flight cost each of the brothers $400 each!
