The new Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wants to undo the Japanese apologies for the Japanese cruelties executed against other Aziatic countries during the course of WW2.He said that in an interview with the conservative newspaper Sankei .
The excuses were made in 1995 under the socialist rule of Tomiichi Murayama.

Travelling by car along the Strada Statale n. 4 (Statal Way Number Four), the historic Via Salaria built by the Romans, from Rome to Rieti, at about halfway, suddenly appears a mount with an enormous notice: DUX. This is the Monte Giano, 1,820 meters about sea level, an Apennines spur, which overtop the little town of Antrodoco, near 20 km from Rieti and 90 km from Rome, on the border from Latium and Abruzzi. DUX in reality is a near 8 hectares pine forest realized by the cadets of the Milizia Forestale’s School (today Italian State’s Forest Corps) located at Cittaducale, near Antrodoco, along the same Via Salaria, in 1938-1939 with 20,000 young pine’s trees. Today, passed the first controversy, the Monte Giano’s DUX is a tourist attraction without any “nostalgia” of the “passed regime”. Our Belgian UXB guys 'DOVO' was called upon 3048 times in 2012 for removal of explosives.
95 % of that was for removing and neutralising WW1 & WW2 ordnance.A total of 140 tons of bombs and munitions was collected.That number is dropping but the finds of chemical WW1 ordnance is climbing.
In august 2012 ,  7 members of Dovo were injured when gunpowders they planned to destroy ignited spontaneously. 4 were heavily burned among them 3 critically.Jos Bosmans(47) died of his injuries and was decorated posthumously.
