Chistmas Greeting cards and letters from German soldiers stationed on Jersey,and send in 1941,finally arrived at their destinations.The cards and letters were stolen as an act of resistance against the occupyers in 1941.A few years ago the cards resurfaced and were taken to the archives.After catalogizing by the archivists they were at last send to Germany.Some of the people they were adressed to refused the cards or letter out of fear of being looked upon as being offspring of Nazis. Engelbert Josef Bergmann of Mühlheim said he didn't know what to feel when he recieved the Christmas wishes that should have been read by his grandfather so long ago. greetz,brummbar
