A memorial plaque for the fallen k.u.k (Austro-Hungary) soldiers of WW1 from Vienna, more specifically from the district "Penzing", where I am currently living. It is located at the Saint Jakob Catholic Church. The text says: "Dem ehrenden Gedenken für die im Weltkriege 1914-1918 gefallenen Helden der Pfarre Penzing", translated to English: "In honoring remembrance for the fallen heroes of the world war 1914-1918 of the parish Penzing". Left and right of it the names of the soldiers are engraved. I know, it isn't about WW2, but still these soldiers fought and died as well, very often under very horrible circumstances and I think they should be allowed to be mentioned here as well. I would like to ask the admins to let this picture stay here. Thank you. ------------------------- Evillittlekenny
