Blood Chit

Blood chits like this were issued to members of the AVG. The notes requested the Chinese poputlation to help the shot down airmen. This one reads: "This foreign person has come to China to help in the war effort. Soldiers and civilians, one and all, should rescue and protect him". Such chits were later adapted by the US Air Force as well. -------------- Evillittlekenny
