Fliegerfaust B:total of 9 barrels,lenght:150 cm,weight;6,5kg.This is the second version of the Luftfaust.The 4 rounds of every second barrel were fired immediatly and the remaining 5 0,1 second later to avoid damaging the projectiles themselves by the rockets exhaust fumes and from interfering with their courses.They were in service in 1945 but not a great succes.10000 units were ordered with 4 million rockets but only a few (80)were made for field trials.The standard shells were 20mm (19 grams of explosives) with a small propelling rocket.The designed range of 500m was never achieved and the dispersion of the projectiles was too great for having a useful effect.A six barrel 30mm prototype was also constructed.
