British Royal Tank Regiment anti-spall tanker's mask from WW1 - leather upper portion, chain-mail lower. This refers to chain-mail uniform element identified in relation to a WWII French fortress-troop machine-gunner in a recent post. Few of these garments are extant. Best regards, JR.
