The newly founded German military cemetery at Shatkovo near Bobruysk/Belorussia. The photo shows the burial of the mortal remains of the first 4,875 German casualties. When finished there will be about 50,000 German soldiers buried there after being moved from the smaller cemeteries in the Mogilev, Vitebsk and Gomel area.

John Finn, at 100 years of age is the oldest living Medal Of Honor recipient and the only Pearl Harbor MOH wearer still living. Finn was a naval aviation ordanace man when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Finn manned a .50 caliber machine gun that was mounted on an instructional stand and fought back at the Japanese planes until he was ordered to sick bay with over 20 wounds.
