This scroll was given to my Opa during WW2.  I recently received it from my Father.  I have no idea what it says.  I would really appreciate if someone could translate it for me.

Hubert Burger - Corporal in the Artillery Rgt 112

Hürtgen Forest, Germany. To the G.I.s known as &quot;Death Factory&quot;. On November 12 1944, in the middle of the hard fighting, 23-years-old german Lieutenant Friedrich Lengfeld tries to rescue a wounded G.I. from the minefield &quot;Wilde Sau&quot; (wild boar). Shortly before he reaches the wounded a mine kills Lengfeld.

Honoring the Enemy

Blackburn Skua fighter/dive bomber submerged at a depth of 240 metres in Trondheimsfjord, Norway.  This wreck was discovered in 2007.  This was, almost certainly, a Skua of 800 Squadron RNFAA, shot down by MeBF 109E fighters of II/JG 77 on 13 June, 1940, while attempting to bomb the "Scharnhorst".  Best regards, JR.
