P-38F Lightning Fighter

What appears to be a 109 from the JG7 of the Luftwaffe, but it has a strange engine cowling and a strange spinner that tells me that it has a nose like a Curtiss P-40, but wings, tail and radiators are identical to the 109's. I am still sceptical on this picture, so if somebody knows more, please E-mail me.
