Landing Party

Japanese forces land on a beach in the Dutch East Indies - March, 1942. The Dutch government surrendered to the Japanese without putting up any resistance on the ground. The IJN had previously defeated a combined fleet of U.S., British, Dutch, and Australian ships in the Battle of the Java Sea.
