Laurel: President of the Second Philippine Republic -) Subhas Chandra Bose: Head of State of Provisional Government of Free India (Arzi Hukumat-e-Azad Hind) Goal of this conference was to boost the relationship between Japan and other nations with granting them "independence", to make them more willing allies in the fight against the Western Allies.
