Major Takikawa

japanese officer Major Takikawa was in command of a battalion of the kwantung army 135th Infantry Division during the soviet invasion of manchuria in august 1945, during the Battle of Mutanchiang Takikawa's battalion temporarily halted Soviet units of 1st Red Banner Army, during the fighting his battalion inflicted heavy losses on the soviet 257th Tank Brigade, in 14th august soviets repeatly attacked Takikawa's battalion, takikawa was forced to retread but destroyed five soviet t-34 tanks, a few days later Takikawa's battalion was smashed and forced to retread permanently from the battlefield
