Italian fighter’s line-up likely at Furbara’s Firing Test Range, North of Rome, Spring 1943, on the occasion of a VIP’s visit, perhaps the same King Victor Emmanuel III. In foreground the undercarriage of a Reggiane Re.2001, on the left one of the prototype of the Fiat G.55 “Centauro” with the camouflage adopted by the test aircrafts, but not by the series aircrafts.
