The Fascist propaganda took over the “Aviator cult” indissolubly tied to the myth of “Duce’s virility”. A Cant-Z-1007bis bomber of Regia Aeronautica’s 263rd Squadriglia landed at Tatoi Airfield, Athens, just after the Greece’s surrender, 27 April 1941. On top of the cockpit the aircraft hoist an Italian flag. In background the wreck of a British Bristol Blenheim, perhaps an aircraft of the No 211 Squadron. Victor Sierra
