The Avio Linee Italiane’s S.73 I-SAUL at Milan’s Linate Airport, at this time a very modern airport and up to all the aircraft’s types in service. Designed for replacement of Taliedo Airport, dedicated to aviation pioneer Enrico Forlanini, the Linate Airport, today the second Milan’s commercial airport, was commissioned on 21 October 1937, for solely civil utilization, and finished on 1938. The photo date perhaps in late Autumn 1937 or early 1938. Victor Sierra
