The gunner and the Breda-Safat 12,7 mm machine gun of dorsal turret with traverse of 60° in horizontal and 70° in vertical for firing backward of an Italian bomber S.79. Note the large aiming device of this weapon belt-fed and with two drums each with 250 shot. The other 12,7 mm machine gun in dorsal turret, fixed at an elevation of 15° for firing (with 300 rounds) and operated from cockpit’s interior from pilot at left seat, not always were mounted.
