Wind and sand

While the pilot (on the right) already dressed for the flight walking near its plane, the ground crew men pushing an Italian fighter Fiat G.50 outside the dispersal perhaps in direction of the flight line. Note the engine still not running and the cockpit covert by a canvas: not taxiing with engine running, this late will start only at moment of the take-off on the runway threshold, were a method to avoid the effects for the airplane and the men of the sand especially during day of strong desert wind, as in the case show by the photo.
