The Ambrosini SAI.207 was a light fighter interceptor built enterely in wood and developed in Italy during World War II. It was a good aircraft, and considering it had an engine of only 750 HP, had a top speed of over 300 MPH. Unfortunately, it was somewhat difficult to fly and had some problems due to it spruce construction.
