Wounds of duty

Italian and German transport squadrons suffered heavy losses to supply the Italo-German armies in Tunisia. Routes between Sicily and Tunisia were constantly checked by Allies air forces. Sometime transport squadrons should fly without fighters escort, and the flies were dangerous even with escorts. The effects of enemy bullets are clearly visible on this Fiat G12.
