The bombardier's station of an Italian bomber Savoia Marchetti  S.79 located on the airplane’s lower nacelle (removed on the S.79 torpedo aircraft). The photo show the bombardier, usually a NCO, while operate the bomb sight and in same time the bomb releaser. Because its shape this latter was nicknamed “typewriter” by the Italian crew.
