The fort of Giarabub in the Giarabub oasis. After the fall of Cyrenaica, the garrison of Giarabub resisted for 4 months at the Australian attacks and siege, with a few artillery and no supplies. The story of Giarabub inspired in Italy a famous war-propaganda film and a famous song.
