The Regia Marina schoolship Amerigo Vespucci during a cruiser in the Atlantic, some miles off New York. Late '30s. The Amerigo Vespucci is the oldest ship still in service and with the longest time of service in the world. She was built in 1931. Her sister, the Cristoforo Colombo had to be given to the Soviet navy after the war. DVX
