Carlo Emanuele Buscaglia (22 September 1915–24 August 1944) was a successful bomber pilot of the italian Air Force specializedd in torpedo attacks. After being shot down by a Spitfire on November 12, 1942 he was captured and later fought on allied side against Germany. Buscaglia died in a plane crash near Naples/Italy testing the new Martin Baltimores without an instructor.
