Colonel General Ferenc Szombathelyi (1887-1946), Chief of Staff, Hungarian Army, pays an inspection visit at one of the units of the Hungarian 2nd Army. The timing of his visit coincided with the third major Hungarian-German offensive against the Soviet bridgehead of Uriv-Storozhevoy; early September, 1942.
