1940 - Hungary, Debrecen Airfield

Italian-built Caproni Ca.135 bis bombers of the Royal Hungarian Air Force lined up for press photo. The planes serve in the 3/6 Bomber Squadron "Uz Bence", which distinctive squadron insignia can be seen on the fuselages. Uz Bence is a Hungarian tale hero. The planes are factory-painted in standard Italian sand-green camouflage finish.


Caproni Ca.135 bombers of the RHAF

Hungarian officers among German officers captured by or surrendered to Soviet forces. Apparently, they were separated from the regular troops. The second from left and the one on the right with the hand on his hip are Hungarians. Date and location unknown.
