Built in Hungary using the Bofors 40mm automatic canon, it was a successful anti-aircraft gun for low altitude planes. It was also pressed into an anti-tank role, but worked only on and off  and at close ranges.

Probably from the early war years, a Hungarian huszar officer and his lady pose in their military-issue coach followed by other cavalrymen. Cavalry units were used by most European armies and despite popular perceptions, these forces could still be very useful, like the Soviet General Pliyev's cavalry units.
