IRINYI ISKOLA, HAJDUBAGOS
The fortunes of war led the sons of Hajdubagos, Hungary, into American captivity at the end of WW2 in 1945. The Hungarian POW's ended up in a camp located in Bocholt, northwestern Germany. Having free time, they created a tessera image of the coat of arms of Hungary, located at the camp's entrance, in front of an old German air raid shelter.
