On this undated photo - probably early 1940s - a Hungarian Army Lieutenant is shown sampling the food of a field kitchen. Judged by the appearance of a staff seargent with a row of medals on the right, they must be safely away from the combat zone of the Eastern Front. Most of the onlookers are noncommissioned officers.

Honved Transport Guard, 1942 (Hungary)

A couple of river patrol boats on the Danube, called by the Hungarian military as "monitors," following the American example. They were probably manufactured in the Buda boat works.
