When Regent Horthy entered the war on the side of Germany in June, 1941, bypassing the authorization of parliament, few people in the country were elated about the event. The unhappy mood seems to apply to this infantry  unit of the First Army marching ahead somewhere in Galicia.

Probably during 1941-1942, a Hungarian Toldi I light tank crosses a river or a ditch somewhere on the Eastern front, most likely in Galicia.

The Hungarian paratroopers during the WW2 era were transported by Italian-built Savoia Marchetti planes, like the one above, which proved to be quite reliable in service.
