Boogie-Woogie Belles.

The Andrews Sisters - from left, Maxene, Patty and LaVerne - one of America's most popular singing acts of the 1940s, and tireless, selfless entertainers of the US forces during WW2. Their hits included "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy", "Don't Sit under the Apple Tree (with anyone else but me)" and many more. Unfortunately, post-war family disputes (not least over career and financial differences) rather blighted the later lives of ladies who really deserved better. (I love their stuff, by the way.) Best regards, JR.
