The Anderson Shelter was used outside the UK in Allied countries that considered themselves vulnerable to aerial bombing or naval bombardment - mainly in Australia. Here are Bessie Adams and her son, Fred, of 405 Gardeners Road, Mascot, Sydney, who purchased theirs after a number of (pretty slight) Japanese naval attacks in the Sydney area. Best regards, JR.
